With the cost of gas and parking your car for 2-5 days can be up to $20/day and most nearby lots being full, wouldn’t it be great if there was an alternate way to get to San Japan without barely making a dent in your wallet? If you live in a large city or town within Texas including Austin, Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth then there is an option. Megabus can get you to downtown San Antonio for as low as $10 (each way) if purchased far ahead in advance. Just order your tickets online at megabus.com. This is not just a Greyhound. It includes free WiFi and outlets so you can bring your electronic devices.
The drop-off point is at 4th and Broadway which is about a 10-12 minute walk to the Convention Center and host hotels [Google Map]. Don’t want to walk that? You can take the 305 Blue or the 7 Red which drops off 150 feet from the Convention Center.
Live outside of Texas? If you live in a major city, you can travel to one of the major Texas cities list then transfer to a bus which goes to San Antonio.
San Japan is not connected with Megabus nor do we have any special discounts with Megabus.
